Everyone always has info on the best exercises for a six pack which one would do the trick if i did only it but many reps… i don’t mind crunches but is there something as good maybe?

running, and hanging leg raises mainly. a part of it is also diet but its not as important as cardio.
ok this is hard to describe. lay flat. sit up right using only your abs. lift your legs off the ground for balance. don’t use your hands at all. it takes some practice but gave me good results. it is difficult to do if done rite. also hang upside down and do crunches. i was told those almost have a 20 to 1 ratio meaning every one done upside down is equivalent to 20 normal crunches.
CARDIO.
the magic word is CARDIO.
you will do all the situps, crunches, leg raises, and ab lifts and you will never see that six pack if you dont do cardio!
trust me!
jump rope
these guys have it all wrong… the best SINGLE exercise one can do to achieve a six pack is HANGING LEG RAISES. hang on a pull up bar, arms spread a little more than shoulder-width apart. raise your legs until they’re parallel to the floor. when this is no longer a challenge (typically do 2 sets, 12 reps), add weight by holding a dumbbell between your feet. at first all of this may seem too hard, so instead of raising your legs parallel to the floor, raise your knees until they are as high as they can go.
i would say definately hanging leg/knee raises, but if u haven’t got a bar to hang from, then my second choice would be exercise ball rollouts or exercise ball crunches, as these recruit more muscle fibres in the abdominals, these are the exercises that have given me the best results.
good luck, mate
It saddens me that no one in here has even mentioned diet. And I’m sorry to say, without changing your eating, you’re not going to accomplish much. That’s the news no one wants, but it’s the news that you need to follow or you’re headed for disappointment.
The exercises the folks in here have mention are, in fact, GREAT exercises, but just because you have a strong core, doesn’t mean you can see it.
up your protein, watch your carbs (carbs are GREAT, you need them, but don’t gorge on them) and get cracking on burning up calories with your cardio and core work.
As far as ONE exercise goes, there is no such thing because the best ONE exercise for your Core: V*A*R*I*E*T*Y.
Have fun.
Diet and cardio. And why would you do one exercise for your abs? You have upper, lowers, and obliques to worry about. It would be stupid to just work out one section.
