Flatten abs by using a rolling pin?

My friend said that it worked from what she heard. I don’t know, but it sounds pretty bogus to me. Is it true? And if so, why?

That’s ridiculous. You can’t really do that. You’re a human being, not a slab of cookie dough. I mean, think about it. If all you had to do was use a rolling pin on your abs, don’t you think we’d all have rock-hard stomachs? Nothing is that easy.

it doesn’t sound true and if it was it must be a pretty painful process

try it and get back to us

that sounds proposterous. the only way to flatten abs is working the muscles and rolling pins wouldnt work the muscles.

well, if you’re on your knees and rolling away and back towards your body, hell YES it’ll tone your abs, thats the muscle being used… but its tough. you’ll do about 5-10 and think "thats enough for today!"
Same concept behind the Ab Roller

Except the ab roller has an elastic return band that assists you on the return.

Bogus. UNLESS you use the rolling pin to help with your crunches by holding the rolling pin by its handles and stretching your arms straight out in front of you so you don’t ‘cheat’ your crunches or hurt your neck pulling with your hands . Some people use wooden stick like a broom for this, so a rolling pin would work great.

well no if u just roll the rolling pin across ur abs, but like maybe if u used the pin to push down on ur abs while flexing with causes u to use ur muscles, burning fat, so it might work, but who knows?

Impossible; totally false.
Flattening or toning up your abs involves dieting and/or willingness to exercise daily. Exercising includes: running/jogging and weightlifting. And for dieting, restricting fats and calories. This is the only way to get flattened abs.
