Posted on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 in six pack exercises
ok i really want to flatten my stomach..im not overweight though i just have a little fat covering my abs..and its really annoying:/ i eat healthy and watch my calorie intake for about 1200..i just hate to exercise because 1-its tiring (obviously!!) 2- its boring..i just have lower ab fat that sorta sticks out..do any exercises BESIDES leg lifts work that area??
and please dont say crunches..they DO NOT WORK! even though everyone says they work..they dont. they just work one muscle in your whole core.
and summers about 8-9 weeks away..so if anything works by then that would be good.
thanks:)
AND STOP POSTING UP FOR ME TO USE ACAI BERRY OR GREEN TEA ITS REALLY ANNOYING
look good

If you want a flat stomach, you have to exercise. Running is good at getting rid of stomach fat. However, this is really no way to target that area. You need to do cardio 6 days a week and weight training 3 (not back to back days). If you do this, you will probably get your flat stomach. If not, you will never get a flat stomach.

go to youtube and put in lower ab workouts. They will show you a whole bunch. Pick some you like and do them for 30 mins 3x per week. Also jog or run for 3-4x per week for 30 mins. The ab workouts will build the muscle and the cardio will melt the fat off of the muscle. In 8 weeks you will have rockin abs! Eat a lot of fiber as well, that always helps with belly fat. Good luck!

Exercise is definitely the only way to get a flatter tummy, but most normal people even if they only weight like 110lbs have a bit of flab on their tummy.
You could go to a gym and ask a trainer about exercises that would target your muscles there to get the best advice. Or you could search it on google.
But just being consistent, and exercising the same muscles over and over should tone them up and make your stomach flatter.
