whats the best diet and exercise for love handels and arm fat. my wedding is comming up and i wanna look good. those are my 2 problem areas . i look fat in the dress. :*(((

  1. You can only burn fat with by doing cardio. That is raising the heartbeat, by jogging, running or even just brisk walking. You cannot choose parts of the body to specifically lose fat from. Depending on your body, it will decide where to burn the fat from. In order to promote certain places to burn the fat from, you need to build slightly more muscle in those areas, this is because muscles need more energy, so are more likely to use the fat when you are exercising.

    So in a nutshell, get some dumbbells and do 30 reps.

    10, putting your arms, straight, by your side and slowly raising them up till the dumbbells are parallel with your shoulders, and back down again.

    10 arms straight out in front hand around the dumbbells, palms facing each other, then moving them again till your hands are parallel with your shoulders.

    Then 10 holding your arms oput straight, palms up (holding dumbbells) then slowly bend arms towards sholders and back.

    If ten is too many try 5. And of you don’t have dumbbells, tinned food will do.

    For love handells:

    lye on your back (as if to do sit ups), bend your legs (about 90 degrees) and drop them to the side so they are on the floor and your body is sort of twisted. Then do 20 crunches where you tense the muscles in your waist and try to pull your body up while remaining in the same position, you will not be able to bring your body up but you will feel the muscles tence then relax. Then repeat 20 times the other side.

    This will subtly build muscle in the areas that bother you. Depending on how much walking you do normally, you will need to slightly up the anti. If you never go walking, you will need to do a good half an hours brisk walk a day to see results. If you walk regularly, you’ll probably need to do an hour. Just make sure you walk a faster rate than you normally do, try going twice as fast as if you were in a rush to get somewhere. If you do this for two weeks even, you will see results. Obviously I could tell you to go running or jogging, but the reality is, if you never do this kind of exercise, it will not be easy to suddenly slot this into your life. But if you did do even a 20 mins jog a day, you would really be surprised at the results.

    PS. Get an MP3 player and some good music for the walking.

  3. Tips for a Healthy diet:

    •Eat every 2-3 hours upon waking (5-6 times per day)
    •Eat a diet low in saturated fat
    •Keep starchy carbohydrates to a minimum
    •Eat a low sodium diet
    •Eat plenty of green leafy vegetables
    •Drink at least 2-3 liters of water/day (1 glass every time you eat)
    •Avoid fruit juice
    •Avoid sugary coffee drinks
    •Drink green tea instead of coffee
    •Eat at least 25 grams fiber/day
    •#1 TIP: Avoid processed foods and “White Foods”: white bread, tortillas, rice, pasta, crackers, potatoes, milk, etc.

    consult a dietitian about recommended calorie consumption.
