Belly fat usually comes off last, because the body carries fat most efficiently around the midsection. So if you want to lose your belly, you’ll have to lose the rest of your excess fat as well.
Here, the magic formula has never changed: It’s nutrition and exercise. At age 15, you should be lean as a whip. Give up the fast food, the processed food, and the following: Sugar, anything with white flour, all soda (including "diet" soda), hydrogenated fat, MSG, and artificial ingredients. Start reading labels on your packaged food.
Finally, start moving. Get out and exercise every day, even if it’s something as simple as walking.
Do all this and you’ll lose the belly fat — I guarantee it.

Gourdman’s recommendations about diet are right on! His statement about belly fat coming off last is questionable. That may be true for you (or others). Different people tend to store fat differently. For men it often tends to be in the stomach. For women, it is often in the hips or thighs. Different people are different.
Over the past few years, the old teaching of "spot reducing" (or getting rid of fat in one specific area) has been disproved. If is now known that when your body burns fat, it burns it from all over. It may seem that your "problem" area is the "last" place that the fat comes off, but it is just that there is probably more fat stored in this area than others.
Proper weight loss includes both diet and exercise. Start with the diet recommendations and check out this site for some great (easy) advice on how to lose fat and develop muscle.
