It should not take very long at all to see results and definition, couple months with your weight and height. You can exercise your abdominal muscles daily and not have to worry too much about muscle recovery or off time not training (since they are used in everyday routines like sitting, getting up, bending over, etc.)
Just like working out other parts of your body and getting definition – be conscious of what food you consume and how often you exercise.
Some of the exercises that I recommend are leg lifts, weighted leg lifts, crunches, reverse crunches, cable crunch, cross body crunch, and variations of these exercises using plate weights, decline benches, and medicine balls.
Also if you find yourself plateauing or not feeling as if you are working your abdominal muscles enough – increase weight or better even – change your routine of exercises. You have to keep your muscles guessing as to how you train work them.
Oh, and running is great, keep it up. It is a great way to effectively lose fat and define your hard to get lower abs.
Check out my source – it is a great link to 50 exercises for your abs.

1-3 years if you work at it. you need to work your core and abs, not your legs.

Depends on how long the line at the store is

just 8 minutes a day!!

Run to the store, and buy a six pack, which ever flavor you prefer, I would have to know how far the store is from where you are to give an estimate on how long it will take.

What exercises do you do exactly? you want an specific answer, but are vague as hell with the details. Get your weight up to like 170-175 with muscle….u sound like one of those skater nubs that look like a good wind blow will send you airborne and you’ll land in the next state.

6′ and 150 it shouldn’t take you long. Plus you run and it seems like you have high metabolism. So I imagine if you worked your abs and strengthened the muscles it will start to show. You burn a lot of fat running a lot so really it’s about building the muscle.
Also your diet is the most important thing. But at 150 being 6′, unless all your fat is in your mid-section, you shouldn’t have a big problem seeing a six pack.

probably around a month and a half if your already in good shape. keep jogging and do sit ups and knee raises

Abs are one of the most difficult muscles to build if you are looking for something normal like athletic just do plain crunches and sit ups if your looking the get a hardcore 8pack do lots of dead lift and sit ups with a wight on your chest remember to check your back when you do dead lift.

If you work hard and are real about getting that pack about a year deep ending on where your at now. But to get it faster if i was you, what i do and i already have one after a year of on and off work. 10 sets of 10 every 3 days. Or after the soreness goes away.

The best way to lose fat is to do interval running. Trust me I know. This involves sprints of atleast 90% of your maximal running speed for no more than 30 seconds and then jog for a couple minutes. continue to do this. The key is to really push yourself.
Also, as much as you may hate it, start making vegetables the main part of you meal, stay away from all the junk food obiviously, but if you’re looking to build muscle then do make sure you get protein in you like mentioned above.
The problem I see with your build is that you should already have a six pack lol, unless you are one of those skinny fat boys. You can get ur sixpack by doing what i said above, but I think you are going to look awkward cuz u most likely have no muscle on you at all.
You should seriously look into some casual weight training. The best bang for your buck exercises are squats, deadlifts, chinups, benchpress (or weighted pushups) There’s a great website at http://www.iwantsixpackabs.com and you will see what goes into getting the body you want. Good luck
