		<description>Doing sit ups will cause weight loss because it burns calories. Some like to exercise a whole bunch of different muscle groups to lose weight. So that when the fat comes of they will have nice muscle tone underneath. That&#039;s why you see fat people in the Gym doing this. And also because weight lifting is another way to burn calories which will burn fat.  But what you heard is true.  If your doing sit-ups you burn calories which cause weight loss. But not all that fat loss is going to come off your stomach. The fat will come off where ever it wants to. Where ever you are geneticley inclined.  Building your muscle underneath your fat in my opinion is not going to make you look fatter. But if you want to lose that fat in your stomach, doing sit ups alone wont do it.  Add Cardio to your work out. And/or eat less.</description>
