What are the best ways to lose stubborn belly fat?
Posted on Thursday, October 22, 2009 in Diet
I am really wanting to lose my belly fat. I drink bottled water everyday, sometimes even 10 bottles of water a day. I walk on a treadmill for about 1-2 hours and do 100 sit ups everyday. And I have been trying to eat only 1 meal a day. But I don’t seem to be losing the belly fat like I want, and I have been trying this for 2 months. Anybody got any good ideas or suggestions?

Hi
I am 6 feet and 180 pounds and yet I had soft unsightly belly flab from all the years of partying at college.
I went to the gym hard and lost a lot of weight after gaining muscle but I was stuck with the belly fat. I even considered lipo but did not want to go under the blade.
I then tried a diet called shifting calories theory. They just change the way you eat but giving different foods at different times. You follow it for one month and see the results. I lost 10 pounds of FAT, not weight in just 20 days. The best part is I lost inches around the belly.
Give it a shot, also, if you don’t mind, email me when you have lost the weight you want to lose, I would be glad to know that my advice worked for someone else too.

u need to do your cardio in the morining freash out of bed… that way your stomach is empty and u burn the fat diectly… as u got no glucose left..
try out it out
once u lose weight then u can switch to doing it it at regular times…
and also reduce some of your carbs

I would suggest supersetting or interval training. it combines strength training(for building lean muscle tissue) and cardio(for fat burning). you don’t need any fancy equipment or an expensive gym membership.
example: squats, push-ups, pull-ups, mountain climbers(if you can’t do a push-up or pull-up=> use dumbbells or resistance bands & do a pushing exercise and a pulling exercise instead). do 15 reps of each back to back to back to back without resting. that equals 1 set. rest 30-60 secs. repeat. do 3-5 complete sets. Do this 3-4x/week.
If you noticed there are no sit-ups or crunches in this workout(I personally think sit-ups & crunches are a waste of time). the best way to burn fat and tighten up your midsection & core is through total body exercises! This style of training doesn’t have you spending in hours and hours a week training either. They are short, fast and effective!
These workouts are great for women or men!
what you put in your body is important as well. Your body needs all 3 macro-nutrients to survive — carbohydrates, protein and fat. If you cut out one of those macro-nutrients your body will not function properly and eventually break down.
Eat whole, naturally occuring foods. Nothing processed, packaged or anything with added sugar, salt, artificial sweeteners or preservatives.
Live by this quote: "If you can’t hunt it, fish it, pick it from a tree, bush or the ground, DON’T eat it."
good luck

The best way to trim your waistline, lose belly fat, and even get a six-pack is probably not what you’ve been told in the past.
What you’re used to hearing is probably along the lines of:
-Eat "health foods"
-"Typical" Ab exercises like crunches, sit-ups, and ab machines
-You must do repetitive cardio exercise routines
-Use "fat burner" pills
-Use a device such as ab-rockers or ab-loungers
None of these are really very effective, but surprisingly enough,
exercises incorporating things such as squats, kettlebells, and dumbells along with the CORRECT diet will lead you in the right direction.
