Lat exercises, crunches and sit ups can build muscle under that layer of fat pushing it out even more and making problem areas more noticeable.  You need to lose some body fat before you go to crazy with ab exercises. So some cardio like , jumping rope for 10 to 15 minutes a day, brisk walking 30 to 40 minutes a day, swimming, anything that makes ya sweat for 30 to 40 minutes combined with a lower calorie eating plan, say 1200 calories a day will get you dropping 2 to 3 pounds of healthy weight a week. Keep going, weight loss takes time but if you stay with it..you&#039;ll get your reward..Good luck!</description>
